At Underhill we make sure that we recycle and upcycle everything we come across. While busy recycling an old oak tree that fell in my neighbor James’ yard, I came across a single slab of live-edge tree trunk from the lumber mill down the valley. When combined with some hardwood decking also recycled to use for table legs it made a stunning 10 seater outdoor farm table for under USD170 (R2,500).

Not bad for an afternoon’s work!
